Everything you need to know before, during and after your appointment with us, as well as videos to answers any questions you might have!

If you received a neuromodulator or wrinkle relaxing injection (botox/dysport), we recommend waiting a minimum of 1 hour after treatment before wearing make-up. We recommend staying upright for 4 hours after treatment.

Please use a gentle cleanser for washing your face that evening, using minimal pressure. You can resume your normal skincare routine the day after treatment.  We advise waiting 24 hours to exercise and one week for facials, massages and waxing. You do not need to ice the area or treat it in any way. If you experience any headache, you can take Tylenol.

If you received a dermal filler injectable treatment, we’ll send you home with a refreezable ice pack and anti bruising Arnica tablets. Be sure to ice the area after treatment and continue icing on and off for several minutes at a time applying minimal pressure. Icing will help reduce swelling and any potential bruising. The arnica we provide will help prevent bruising. Please use a gentle cleanser for washing your face that evening, using minimal pressure. You can resume your normal skincare routine the day after treatment.

We advise waiting 24-48 hours to exercise and one week for facials, massages and waxing. If you experience any discomfort, you can take Tylenol.

After your appointment

It is best to stay well hydrated before your appointment and be sure to eat before you come in. We are very gentle but if you have a history of fainting, please let us know before your appointment.

We recommend taking Arnica tablets for several days before your appointment to help minimize possible swelling and bruising. You can find these at most health food stores, pharmacies and online.

Avoid drinking alcohol for a minimum of 1 week prior to your treatment to minimize bruising risk.

To help reduce the possibility of bruising we recommend avoiding Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Aleve, Motrin, Vitamin E, fish oil, green tea, and turmeric for 10 days prior to treatment (if you are medically advised to take any of these, please confirm with your primary care physician prior to discontinuing).
